Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
We're not the biggest name in Mount Hermon — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. We carry the credentials Mount Hermon inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Mount Hermon and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Mount Hermon is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Mount Hermon homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Mount Hermon's housing stock.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
When your Heat Pump Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Mount Hermon dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk Mount Hermon homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Mount Hermon are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Mount Hermon, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Property managers working with multiple Mount Hermon locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Mount Hermon households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
This is the standard every Mount Hermon technician on our team is held to.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".

A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"Got quotes from four different companies for a replacement and this was the only one that actually walked me through the load calculation. My energy bill dropped noticeably the first month with the new system."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
After thousands of service calls across Mount Hermon, a handful of causes show up again and again.
Mount Hermon's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Filters should be checked monthly during heavy-use seasons and replaced roughly every 60-90 days depending on your household and any pets.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Whether your Mount Hermon home has a traditional split system, a ductless mini-split, a heat pump, or a hybrid dual-fuel setup, our crews are equipped to diagnose and repair it. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Mount Hermon roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
